Ira is one third of Forest Fringe, with whom she has delivered projects as an artist and producer across the UK and internationally, including festivals and residencies in Edinburgh, Hong Kong, New York, Dublin, Lisbon and Kanazawa.
As a solo artist she has participated in residencies nationally and internationally, and is particularly interested in cultivating peer-to-peer exchange, working with local artists, or opportunities to develop new work through residency programmes. She can offer bespoke workshops, and is also available to participate in post show talks or round table discussions around her making processes or the themes of her work.
From 2014-2016 she taught Theatre and Performance Making at Royal Holloway University of London, as part of Forest Fringe’s role as Resident Theatre Company.
As a writer, Ira has previously collaborated with the Bristol Old Vic Young Company, and written performative short stories that have been presented at Arnolfini, Bristol.
