Forest Fringe returns to Edinburgh & like the party has been cancelled

This summer, Forest Fringe is returning to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a special two-day takeover of Shedinburgh. We haven’t been in Edinburgh since 2022, when our film Dream Agency premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and we haven’t run a performance programme since our last Forest Fringe year at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall in 2016!

The dates are Tuesday 25th & Wednesday 26th August, and the Shedinburgh venue is at Bristo Place, which is also the old Forest Café and original Forest Fringe venue. No doubt it will feel equally strange and wonderful to be back there. We have a programme of super exciting work – work in progress showings and experiments from some of our favourite artists, and some lo-fi, pared back versions of old shows reworked for the Shedinburgh shed.

As part of the programme I’m also going to be performing like the party has been cancelled, adapted into a simplified, low-tech, ‘shed-version’ of the show. This is the first, and likely only, time the show will be in the UK. I hope you can make it!
